MS Word

HOLY MACARONI!
I had no idea about all of the features MS Word has! And to think i have been using this for a huge chunk of my life! MS Word may be used for word doc, pamphlets, Memos, posters, and websites.
Before this class I was familiar with adding pictures to my MS Word. Although, Professor Morgan showed us a way I never knew before. The much easier way. I never knew we could make it "tight", behind text, in front of, or indented.

We had to create a memo using MS Word. Never before have I created one, but it was fairly easy. I have satisfied with the way it came out. The features I used were tabs, paragraph indentations, shapes, fonts, colors, tight and photos. I really enjoyed making them, and I'm sure i will be creating them in my future-for my parents or for work. I think my memo looked presentable. Now, if only I can convince everyone else that.

Design

What's life with out a little bit of color?

Well, we all loved to color when we were little...and this is kind of like that feeling. Only you DONT want to go outside of the lines. Design is a way of grabbing peoples attention. It may seem easy to layout attractive pieces but it can get frustrating. You have to make sure everything is aligned the same, you have great contrast, the fonts are readable and well quite frankly, you have to follow the rules. The rules of Williams that is. In her book she gives advice and design principles. Some may seem as common sense, but others really do make a difference.

LETS SAY I MADE SOMETHING LIKE THIS

BUT THEN MY NEXT LINE WENT THIS WAY

AND HOW ABOUT THIS WAY? SEEMS FUN!

THESE COLORS ARE BRIGHT..THEY'LL GRAB ATTENTION!

..but this is so..ugly.

Now this looks better:

Lets say I made something like this
And kept my lines all the same direction.
Same font, too!
